Oh someone else that listens to spirits! Mine are snakes and butterflies. And obviously the frog plays a role (my heart center, where I like to rest). I don't get them so much on LSD though. Started with snakes and Ayahuasca. Then snakes and cubes. Snakes and tamp stones (not so much the fruits). Occasionally with pan cyans. Usually feminine and multicolored. Coming up from the root. Maybe Kundalini. Maybe Kali. Maybe my Scottish and Irish ancestors. Sometimes appearing as a red haired woman. Butterfly started showing up with pan bisporus. Pan bisporus shows up too. Trip sitting. Excellent teacher. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a history working with people. Or maybe they just appreciate my vibe. But a compassionate spirit either way. Door way to Kwan Yin, bodhisattva of compassion. Anyway, I don't hold any of that too tightly. Spirits are mercurial, and they slip through my fingers when I try to pin them down with concepts. I hope you and mantis have many wonderful encounters! Our brothers and sisters are wonderful guides in my experience.
